People still ask, how has Broudy's been able to compete with the big guys, for all these years?

"There are several reasons we can do this", says Barry Broudy, owner of Broudy's Liquors. "We have the products that our customers want priced com­petitively with anyone else in the area. We know how to make smart purchases and because we have five stores, we can take advantage of specials offered by our suppliers. There are times our distributors are overstocked and/or having to make quotas at the end of the month. They make us aware of any additional savings and we are able to pass these savings along to our customers. Their specials might not be avail­able in enough quantity for a large chain to partici­pate, but with multiple locations we are able to bring in enough product to keep our customers happy."

" Our people also make the difference. Our associ­ates are familiar with the products we sell and help­ful in providing mixing and servings tips. We have some associates that have been with Broudy's for over 20 years. This is a family business and we like to make our customers feel like part of the family. " We are able to offer the best of both worlds - big and small. We can provide competitive pricing on our products and we also are able to give that personal service."
