Taste is the downfall of many IPAs—muddied with over-the-top hop additions and lacking the complexity and bitterness that more traditional hopping techniques can bring. The best hazies on the other hand, they build on the balance and traditional flavors of an IPA while layering on bright, tropical fruit. These beers trade prickly carbonation for a creamy and luscious feel. Code of the Streets falls in this latter category. It’s slightly bitter, bursting with bright fruitiness and is oh so juicy.
