Lazzaroni is the first Amaretto created in Italy, with roots that go back to the 1850's. It is the only Amaretto produced from the infusion of the famous Lazzaroni Amaretti de Saronno cookie, which creates a more delicate almond/apricot flavor. Lazzaroni is still produced and bottled in Saronno, Italy according to the original recipe and has won numerous medals and awards for its outstanding quality.
