First made in Maryland in the 1890s, this whiskey brand is now produced in Kentucky from extra-aged barrels stored in prime warehouse locations. It’s aged for 6 years and bottled at 110 proof, and the spirit won a Double Gold medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Aromas of dusty cocoa notes with oaky smoke underneath lead to a dry and spicy mouth-feel witth honeyed rye and cloves on the palate with a long finish with hints of vanilla and baking spices.
